My voiceover journey started 268 days ago
I returned from Madagascar where I spent 30 days exploring the country, talking to the people, discovering the wildlife and finding what one could expect to find: poverty.
On Wednesday I arrived, which gave me Thursday and today to work, mostly on my day job (emails) and some organizational things in preparation for the last quarter of 2018.
I’m letting my quadruple team speak: Frank, Hank, Jimmy and myself.
1/4 Worker: Frank
Nothing I worked on, completed, struggled with or found out in terms of voiceover weaknesses because I was on my research trip in Madagascar.
Done next time
- script 4 (demo reel)
- a light AVV for an article of a client of mine
- 5 AVRs (= Agile Voice Recordings)
2/4 CEO: Hank
How did business go?
Before the trip I defined a strategy to make 6,000 euros of revenue within 3 months. The strategy is to create 5 AVRs per week (Mon-Fri) so I can approach Berlin-based companies who I made those AVRs for. If I don’t hear from them I keep contacting them on different channels (also in person).
Business stalled in September, which is why the next 3 months are about action.
3/4 Head of Sales: Jimmy
How did sales go?
No sales, obvsly.
4/4 Last words of the observer: Alex (me)
What did you (as the gray eminence) get out of this week? What was remarkable?
I’m fed up to see poverty in this world, in Africa, Asia, Europe and Germany. My no. 1 conclusion is therefore to become extremely rich so I can create (investment) options for myself and opportunities for others.
